I changed over to a VPS hosting package with SLHost a couple of months back from a shared hosting account on Hostgator. Hostgator weren’t very helpful so there was a bit of messing around by SLHost but eventually it was all sorted and everything seemed to be working fine.
What I didn’t take into consideration was all the software I had installed on my different sites would need re-configuring because SLHost works around 777 file permissions and Hostgator around 755. I knew I needed to use a different install version of some software but didn’t consider anything else.

One of the great things about PPC marketing is promoting products in any country that has an world wide web connection and a pool of ready buyers. Sometimes though offers, especially CPA (cost per action) offers, have IP filtering to block out viewing by countries other than the country the offer is set up for. So a US targeted offer is unable to be viewed by someone in Canada or the UK. And vice versa, an offer aimed at the UK isn’t usually viewable outside the UK.
